In 2003 my family and I made the decision to move to the Republic of Ireland. I had worked in the Finance Industry until then but decided to retrain so that I could take a trade with me. I qualified as a Plasterer and did further training in specialist plastering.
We moved to County Mayo in the west of Ireland where I learnt my trade working on building sites and in private residential homes. We lived there for three years before returning home to England in the Christmas of 2007.

In January 2008 my business was up and running. I was covering all aspects of plastering both internally and externally. I had learnt lots of additional skills and techniques working in Ireland. Many of our houses are built of bricks whereas most Irish homes are built using blocks and are then rendered with various finishes.
Over the years since returning home, I have made sure to update my knowledge through various forms of training. You will see in my portfolio; bathroom refurbishments, plumbing and tiling, plastering and property maintenance which covers a wide range of skills. Fast forward to 2018 and my plastering services and renovations business became Parkhouse Renovations .
